This is a short informational video designed for you to understand how an autonomous fire extinguishing system works with the possibility of manual activation. As an active protection, the APPS MPH-5 autonomous fire extinguishing system with a total extinguishing capacity of 78 m2/100 m3 is installed! In total, 3 such fire extinguishing systems are installed here. Each with its own temperature sensor at 72°C and with an additional Alarm box = manual start of extinguishing.
The fire extinguishing system consists of a temperature sensor (electrical pulse generator) which has an activation temperature of 72°C. Temperature TPS-01C-72 after exceeding the temperature of 72°C (more than 20 seconds) activates the cold gas generator in the extinguishing module MPH-5.
On this video there are tests of extinguishing the manual fire extinguishing grenade MPH-5T. In the same way, it extinguishes this atomic version. Here, to activate it, pulling the fuse (manual activation) and throwing it into the focus is used. These tests were carried out at the Marius Pedesrsen recycling centre in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, there was already a large fire which was extinguished by the SAPFIR fire extinguishing system immediately with zero damage.
The difference from classical extinguishing is in its large power, the initial shot of the powder extinguishes the source of the fire. Subsequently, the powder fog will create a volumetric extinguishing of the entire car service area.
